The AWS EdStart Voice Builder Course includes over 15 hours of content featuring EdTech-specific training, hands-on modules, and support from the Alexa in Education team. As you embark on building your Alexa skill, the Alexa in Education team will schedule calls with you for voice ideation, skill feedback, and guidance on using the Alexa Skill Kit (ASK). They will also provide a voice user interface (VUI) review, an AWS Well-Architected review, and an Amazon Alexa policy review.
When you complete your build and launch your Alexa skill, the AWS EdStart and Alexa in Education teams will recognize you with a digital AWS EdStart Voice Builder Badge. In addition to the badge, you will receive dedicated support to help you market your new offering.
Earning the AWS EdStart Voice Builder Badge includes these additional benefits:
- Skill discoverability: Once your education skill is live in the Alexa Skills Store, the Alex in Education team will add your skill to the Learn with Alexa page to help promote your skill to education customers.
- Marketing support: In addition to adding your skill to the Alexa Skills Store, the AWS EdStart team will provide guidance and resources for marketing your new skill. Opportunities for promotion include a post on the AWS WWPS blog, video testimonials, social media, and PR pitches.
- Badging: Once you complete the required coursework and launch your skill, you will receive an AWS EdStart Voice Builder Badge, which you can showcase on your company website and associated marketing materials.
- Roundtable with AWS Leadership: Exclusive invitations to live/virtual meetings with Alexa Voice Builder Badge recipients, Alexa in Education, AWS EdStart, and Amazon leadership.
